Turbos are sensible to implied volatility moves, much less than vanilla options.
I - Vanilla call

A 1 year "plain vanilla" call struck at 100, volatility= 30 %, interest rate= 5 %


This call is worth call vaut 14.23 if the spot is $100.



II - Turbo

A 1 year Turbo call struck at 100, volatility= 30 %, interest rate= 5 % with a barrier at 90



The turbo call is worth 9.39 for a spot set at $100.



III - Implied volatility sensitivity

A 1 year Turbo call struck at 100, volatility= 15 %, interest rate= 5 % with a barrier at 90


The turbo call is worth 7.92
Turbo with volatility set at 30%


The turbo call is worth 9.39 for a spot set at $100.

A 1 year Turbo call struck at 100, volatility= 60 %, interest rate= 5 % with a barrier at 90:


The turbo call is worth 9.96 for a spot set at $100.
