Stability Warrants : A First Attempt

Stability Warrants are listed double knock out options issued by banks
Stability warrants a financial products issued by banks which provide a payoff if no barrier has been reached.



I- Example :

S&P500 is around 1000.
A 2 months stability warrant 750/1250 on the S&P500 would pay off €10 if the index never hits both barriers.



II- Features

Volatility sensitivity
The highest the volatility the highest the chance to reach the barriers, the lowest the price.

Stability warrants are "short" volatility.

Time Sensitivity
As time passes, chances to reach the barriers decreases.
